Landscaping is one of the most important ways to make a new house feel like your home or to give your existing home an updated look. I offer several different services to help with your landscape needs.
I have an extensive horticultural background and can create many different types of landscapes. I specialize in creating gardens that feature low-water use plants and require minimal maintenance.

Landscape Services:
I can provide a complete landscape design with a to-scale blueprint, a complete plant list that lists the mature height and width of the plants as well as how many you need and what size container to buy, a CD of the plants pictured on the plan, and extra copies of the plan to give to landscape contractors for bidding purposes. Blueprints start at $500
I also do landscape consultation, a shorter, less costly version of the above. The landscape plan will be drawn during our meeting on letter-size paper, to-scale if possible. We'll peruse pictures of plants to see what you like, and I'll place them on the design. Consultations are $75 an hour, and they usually take 1.5-2 hours.
- Irrigation timers -- I can show you how to set your irrigation timer (most of them, anyway) and can evaluate your irrigation system for minor leaks or other problems.
- Plant identification and evaluation -- I can (usually) identify the plants in your yard and give you advice on how to care for them.
- Tree pruning -- I can show you how to prune young shade trees to get them off to a good start, or I can prune them for you. But I don't climb very tall ladders:)
